黄昏時を観海寺へ、そぞろ歩き。和尚さん素敵♪俗世に倦んで、山里に命の洗濯に来た甲斐もあろうというもの。

• 上の写真は、都会の木蓮

青空にのぼ〜っと伸びている木蓮が奥床しい。山里の禅寺の大らかさ。
Above, the sometime realm of star and moon
Is all magnolia to my enraptured gaze.
「木蓮の花許（が）りなる空を瞻（まば）る」
…この句、読めなかった…多分合ってると思うけど(^^ゞ

• 静かな庭に松の影が落ちる

'Look at the shadow of that pine tree'
'It's pretty, isn't it?'
'Just "pretty"?'
