Ch.10 Strider と Ch.11 A Knife in the Dark の、風見が丘の麓のspringに付いた足跡に、Striderがanzxious thoughtをするところまで。


バタバーさんが最初に馳夫さんを通していたとしても、フロドがaccidentを起こさなくても、仔馬亭にBlackRiderは侵入しただろう。だからこの「もし」は考えなくても良い(^◇^;)
サムの馳夫さんに対する疑いぶり、頼もしいな〜（笑）マゴットじいさんと同じく「足の裏には土、指には泥、骨々には知恵、目は二つとも開いている」のだろう。少なくとも、振り込め詐欺には引っかからないと思う(^0^)/
わたしも初読のときは、この辺からアセラス登場まで、馳夫さんは怪しい人物と思ってた（推理小説の読み過ぎ^^;）

The Big Folk and the Little Folk were on friendly terms, minding their own affairs in their own ways, but both rightly regarding themselves as necessary parts of the Bree-folk. Nowhere else in the world was this peculiar (but excellent) arrangement to be found.
