トムはマイアだから指輪を嵌めても、姿が消えない。指輪を嵌めたフロドを見ることも出来る…ガン爺やガラ様は見えるんだろーか？たしか、スランドゥイル家中のエルフは、ビルボが見えなかったよね？と言うより、無欲なトムは、マイアやエルフを超越しているのかな？（指輪が彼を支配する力を持たないと、ガン爺が言ってたな）
